nearly thirty years ago

Most of you have seen this, but I fiddled with it a little to take out a bit of the gauzy sun-drenched effect....

My boyfriend's roommate took this and my mother's carried it around in her wallet ever since. I haven't let anyone take a picture of me in about twenty years, but I got myself all buffed up to have the local camera shop take one so you guys could see me, and when I got there, he'd closed up shop and moved away. Someday I'll get it together....

No, woops, here's one from almost nineteen years ago. That's my friends' baby who just went off to college with a rockin' MacBook the other day....

There's an hysterically funny one of me in the garden at the monastery in 1992 somewhere around here, but not on disk....
