[click image, pdf — I SCREWED UP THE LINK. It's fixed now. Soooorry.]

.

I think this will be a lot easier to take and much more helpful than the netcasts. Those just drone on too long and don't give people enough context. So I will start posting these as they come out. You are welcome to use any and all of it as you see fit.

  3. Shutting down this 'puter now. May pull out the other one later - going to watch whale wars now - or maybe see what "The Crumbling of America" is like - something on History channel about our crumbling infrastructure.

FUCK - the news in the other room said they are now making plans to pull out of the gulf because of the storm - 2 weeks of unimpeded flow from the well!

I need something stronger to drink!!!

  5. Still a problem with the link - or actually the page itself - Adobe says it can't extract the font NNOBC+MyriadPro-Cond

  6. Maybe yer Adobe needs updating! That link is working perfectly now, whether you just click into it or download the file.

  7. OK,

thought of that after I left the comment. The version I got in my email directly from them also had the same problem - listed a different font, but still wouldn't work.

I checked and I was still on version 7 - installed 9.3 now all is well.

  9. I had so many problems with Adobe Reader V8 at work that I didn't update it here at home - it was a piece of crap - slow as molasses to open a big file like the building plans people sent me.
Even slower to navigate within the drawing once it was open.

This latest version solved the problems at work as well as the missing font problem here at home.
