If I don't like it, I can get a cell phone. They've got a monopoly on that here too.
You should get a new computer with WiFi and pool with your neighbors for the monthly cable bill and fuck the phone company forever.You could DO that.
Costs me $7 a month to have my land line, since I'm certified destitute, but if you can stand being incommunicado during power outages, you wouldn't even have to pay THAT.
