But leave it to Gates to figure out a way to make this so special you have to put his software on your machine to see it... IF you can get it to work....
I may have to find another embarrassing image of him to express myself more clearly....
Evidently I have to wait till they write a version for my G5 because it's not happening for me on either browser. So I'm watching some New Zealand lectures I linked down low on my sidebar.
And... did you read "Let Them Eat Cash"? I linked a pdf of it a week ago or so. I swear, I almost had a stroke as I was reading it. I mean, of COURSE, just throwing cash at it isn't going to fix world hunger! The food is always going to go to the market that will pay the most for it, and locals having money just means the first world pays more and they still starve! And, of COURSE, Gates would be completely insensible to this fact.
Feynman was a Prince.
ReplyDeleteNorbert Wiener's Cybernetics got me into Math. Feynman's Lectures were instrumental in getting me my degree.
Certain people are wont to ask "What would Jesus say?" In the context of 9/11, I often pose the rhetorical question: "What would Dr. Feynman say?"
Hint: He'd be a Truther, of course ;-)

Indeed.

Yeah, as I added another layer of cruft (Silverlight) to my computer to view these, it did occur to me that this wasn't purely an act of philanthropy.
