another thing i hold against george w. obama

He has fallen right into line with the bullshit about Social Security... placing it on the deficit reduction table, even mentioning means testing for eligibility... when ALL the while, and all of them KNOW this, Social Security would be THE most healthy program by far, with plenty of money for everyone, had not the government been stealing from it for decades. They keep putting out all these scares, making it look for all the world as though they ARE going to yank Social Security and Medicare benefits, instead of just ONE of them piping up, telling the truth, getting the system paid back, for fucking ONCE stopping with the dumping all our cash into the gaping maw of plutocracy thing.

And, seeing as how this is all perfectly plain, what on EARTH would make any "progressives" think backing him and the whores in Congress on the Fascist Healthcare Insurance Mandate would be a good thing?

Are you fucking wingnuts?

  2. Oops - that last one was supposed to be at "I dare you"

And your link here is returning a 404 error from the Dissent Voice website.

  3. Okay. I switched from tiny url to bit ly and let's see how long that one works. It worked fine when I tested it to begin with, and it worked fine with this new shortened link... so let's see if they're just being assholish about shortened links. I don't want to link them directly because they have so much bullshit on there so much of the time. I don't even go there unless I'm following a link somewhere, and almost always it's crap on that end. This piece, sez me, isn't crap.

  4. I hear ya on the brain hurt thing. They have totally psychedelicized this thing. Nobody has been able to nail down bubkes from the git. And, now, ostensibly, Pro Publica has given us a side-by-side of Senate and House versions, while we, STILL, have not the first part of a clue what from each or what else they will slap on or rip out.

Their heads should be on pikes!

  5. Oh, except, we KNOW there's no public option and NO cap on premiums. We know THAT much... thanks to the hard work of a lot of superhuman watchdogs.

Drawn and quartered, THEN their heads on pikes.

  7. Yes. Beyond the pale.

If the link goes 404 again I'll just quote the AP, since everyone knows they're fucked up and won't be misled.
