i'm not getting over this edwards thing

How dare he hold himself out as a decent, clean-living American.

Put him up next to Sean Penn, Mr. Married-Madonna-Chain-Smoking-Bad-Boy, who happens to have more class, and judgment, and heart, and decency in his little finger than just about everyone running for president. Really! How far down the rabbit hole are we that we can't keep something this simple straight?
