makes me cry

I'm watching the C-SPAN video archive of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee grilling of Warmonger Rice that took place earlier today. It's over three hours long, but at around hour-one the proceedings were interrupted by a man entering chambers and screaming something like STOP THE LIARS! STOP THE LIARS! STOP THE LIARS! It makes me cry. It makes me cry. It makes me cry that we have to throw ourselves into hearings to be dragged out by police. It makes me cry that there really is at least one man brave and American and humane enough to do that for me.

Crooks and Liars has highlights of the hearing, but left out the bodhisattva's interruption.
