Why not? It's every bit as reasonable as what we are doing now. And, yes, doing nothing is action... of a most definitive sort. So going where no one has gone before is a fine idea. Less suicidal. More fun. Workable as heck.
Better than sitting here in the stupefaction of one's own opinions. Better than blathering about one's helplessness to effect change by oneself. Better than obsessing on the frenzied mundane to such an extent that you drop dead of a stroke, or sitting the the prison cell of what you already think so long someone ends up having you carted off to the bin. Shake it up. Spend a few hours devoting yourself to a harebrained scientific theory. Let yourself love someone who violently disagrees with you for a day or two. Snap out of it!
