Thoroughly discussed in the three-part BBC documentary, The Power of Nightmares, is another very strong personality, Leo Strauss, who happens to be the philosophical parent of both the Neoconservative and the Radical Islamic movements. Whoever says one human cannot make a difference on a global scale is making one fat honking murderous excuse for a complete failure of will.

Where Strauss erred was in his failure to account for what should be feared. He let fear be a generic thing. Humans need to fear inhumane-ness more than their own discomfort, more than death, or his whole shtick is shit.
