LOOK! This thread is about standing up and booting out criminals and the evil greedheads that are ruining our lives and our planet. It's Bobby standing up to the fuckers who killed his father... for our sake, for all of us, rich and poor. Some seem to want to grouse about their pet issues not being covered well enough to suit them. Some diehard capitalists are getting their knickers twisted over the notion of a truthful press, working to mitigate global warming, and restoring some basic equity in a country where we have declared our equality.

Something beautiful happened at Live Earth on Saturday, and this post shows THE most beautiful part, and trolls, or people acting like trolls have turned the discussion into a big heap of rotten mush. WHEN DO WE GET TO THE POINT WHERE WE DROP OUR BITTER LITTLE SELF-SERVING OPINIONS AND COMPLAINTS AND UNITE AROUND THOSE WHO WILL FIGHT TO GET OUR COUNTRY BACK? I want my country back. I've been asking after it, looking for it, calling for it, swinging from the earlobes of everyone I meet about it, FINALLY someone comes out with the heroic stuff that leads to it, and you guys sit at your computers and heap a big steaming glop of spoiled mush over it. HE DID THAT INCREDIBLY BRAVE THING FOR YOU! If you're too wrapped up in your own resentment, how are you going to find the gratitude for your own lives to be grateful for heroes?

Melissa Etheridge almost died of breast cancer. She got in touch with her gratitude. She's out there singing her heart out, announcing she's done with being different and pleading for America to stand up again.

Do you have to almost die before you WAKE UP? If you don't cut this shit out, we're going to be standing over the ashes of our Constitution and then standing in line for our RFID chips and then sitting in our homes dreading every knock on our doors WHILE THE PLANET IS BURNING DOWN AROUND US.
