Sydney was awesome, and Crowded House just ended it with this song a few minutes ago:
I don't know what my problem is with Japan, but Tokyo was not doing it for me. So I don't even know if it was as packed and energetic as Sydney. Give me a break! I'm an old broad, staying up for a Live Earth. In case you didn't read me the first time, the John Butler Trio was OUTSTANDING! And the information about turning this world around is too.
Lest you think the world has stopped for this monumental act of global good will... here. If we pull together, we can stop this.
Heh. Shanghai is going off without a hitch. Monster crowd. Much better organized. I sure hope that haze is FOG. Just heard my first evidence that the power structure is still too oppressive. If those two guys weren't relatives of heads of state, we are in big trouble. First time crowd audibly cheered, and they are worse singers than I am! Each act so far has shown a real grasp of English, too. It's as if they are pausing to do a moment's polite baby talk to the sea of dunces out here. The style? Lounge lizard. Disco.
