Everyone enjoys the nickname so much, but I don't think many of us stop to think of why * would call him by such a name. In *'s book Karly Poppins is someone who can make shit smell like roses in bloom......take his candidacy for office, for instance. Brilliant! Basically, a really crass variation on making lemonade out of lemons.... *'s way of being self-deprecating. But that has been Rove's entire function: coming up with ways to make shit come off as something else. The creepiest part is: I don't think it ever worked on most people.
