I just love how these guys report it as if it were some new thing! I highly recommend you read this recent New Yorker piece about Paul Watson. In it you will find a detailed accounting of one of Watson's "run-ins" with the Japanese "scientific" fleet in the Antarctic.

I hate to tell you, but it looks precisely like if we want anything to improve in this world, we have to do it ourselves.
