for those of you with crappy monitors

[click picture]
...I'm seeing if I can stand changing my color scheme so you can see my links. I'm chuffed beyond expressing to learn that even brand new flat screen monitors, if cheap, don't display the dark teal and you would have to be moving your mouse all over neufneuf to find the links that aren't pictures. This is only provisional. I might flip out and go back to my color anyway, just waiting for the technology to let you see what's up without my having to cede the color thing, but, well, I made somebody change his heinous blog colors when there was much more at stake, so I could goddam give it a try... and... as you can see, I am trying. Heavy sigh.

I would like to hear from you about it.

UPDATE, 8:10pm: Well, so Agent BB2 told me that the brick red looked like dark brown with purple highlights on his monitor with Firefox. So that one is O-U-T. Besides, I hated it. Had noticed quite a few blogs using it for a link color and it seemed to work for them, but, well, I hated it and it's dark brown with purple highlights in the rest of the world. Pft.

Now we're trying a stultifyingly boring, but somewhat lighter, blue. How do you feel about it?
