better bad news

I guess the Senate didn't take the sucky language out of the potential Thought Crime Bill. Was going to do a piece on this when it was still just Jane Harman's baby, but decided that since it was just creepy language in a bill to form a commission to study "homegrown terrorism" that I'd not bother to flip out unless and until the Senate failed to turn it into something less anti-American. Heavy sigh. I'm going to have to look again... just like I haven't covered California with my herds of cows already.
