And here is an English translation of a Chinese translation of Putin's visions for a new Russia.

I have friends who think my fondness for this guy is naïve. No. While I'm sure I don't know the half of it, I'm saying he's doing wonderful things for Russians, and so the awful stuff, if it's there, whether it's there, even if it's there in spades, is moot for my purposes. I'm trying to express to you that the villains are not necessarily villainous at all, or their villainy is not stopping them from helping the common person. Don't get so bogged down in the travesties of the world that you lose sight of what is good for the people and who it is looking after that.

You want to live in a decent world?
