[click picture]Before deciding to go with the machismo angle on this filthy tale, I was considering playing it straight with execution shots and came across this gruesome picture of a Taliban soldier with his bloodied pants yanked down around his ankles, his hands cut off and being pumped full of bullets in the middle of the road. Personally, I'd like to know what the photographer is doing getting an award for this. Truly. Think about it. But, anyway, the caption says it's Northern Alliance executioners, but, er, maybe you need to enlarge the shot? So then, adding in that the brother of the condemned downloader is reporting on activities in Northern Afghanistan.... Uhm...? WTF?
And... did we liberate Afghanistan from the Taliban just to impose an equally repressive and lethal regime?
