I really can't think of any excuse for him being the Republican nominee. Maybe Republicans can't either?

[Sheesh, it's 6:30am and I'm just now going to bed. I should maybe have tried to parse my feeling better over a few days or something. I was going to write to you about Richard Gere's kisses and the nuances of this movie that highlight the absurdity of McCain's big ideas... but... dammit... I'll do it after I get up if I'm still on that subject....]
