oligarchs keep dropping

Bear in mind that there is no such thing as a righteous Russian oligarch. You have to be scary as hell to be a Russian with billions. Period. It's not like how you can be a seriously nasty dweeb here. [Bill Gates] No. You gotta be terrifyingly nasty in Russia to amass that kind of a fortune... and it isn't just that you want to leave once you have that kind of dough: you have to....

[A not extravagantly whitewashed account of rising to oligarchitude....]

[This link rocks. Don't you just love how plutocratic thugs all over the world are screaming for "democracy" in the governments doing the most to raise the little guys out of the mud? Same shit in Venezuela. We have to become vigilant about the use of this term around us, now don't we?]

The body of the Georgian oligarch Badri Patarkatsishvili is being kept in Britain on a coroner’s orders while extensive tests for poisoning, which could take up to ten weeks, are conducted. Although a postmortem examination showed that Mr Patarkatsishvili had such severe heart disease he could have died at any time, claims of a murder plot against him were being studied by Scotland Yard when he died.
And, so, well, I'm sorry, but you really gotta ask yerself how the jerk wouldn't have known about his heart disease.

And then you gotta ask yerself if his "assassination" fears were not, in fact, something else entirely.
