the best thing about the internet this morning

...was something to put a spring in the old broad's step. Had been reading The New Yorker on the death of newspapers and disparaging, gently, Arianna's weird endeavor. I try to go there every day as some sort of Zen practice... getting control of my tendency to want to kick my monitor when I see that shit.... But today her usually appalling-to-me celebrity fixation was something of a relief.

I mean, lately it's been seriously sucky out there. A Boalt Hall law professor signing a piece of paper that says it's okay for * to commit war crimes and, of course, the ongoing and escalating war crime of war crimes itself. Then watch how easy it is to bust the Siegleman case wide open and tell me you don't agree.
