Here's a quick bit to give a hint. Maybe later I will go back and find the original study that was presented by a bunch of agency people in Boonville a few years back, but it showed that watershed destruction from vineyards was worse than that by logging by a few orders of magnitude, which is only common sense if you bother to sit down and think about it. But, no. We hate tree killers and love wine, so we form circuses in protest of timber companies and use watershed Armageddon to power our antique Aston Martins.

We don't look at what is. We simply keep right on going about upholding our feelings as righteous while the planet comes down around our ears. And how does skimming Outer Blogistan affect this problem? Positively? Negatively? Not at all? Einstein?
