Another honkin' ass thunderstorm is hitting me from the SOUTHEAST. That never happens... but....

Guess what. It's happening right this now, and it rocks... in an apocalyptic sort of way....

11:00pm: Okay, it's passed now, and there were only about three good thunders out of it, but it was bright red going over the mountains, right where the fire is, and so I'm hoping it damped that down a bit. Just caught my first whiff of smoke a little while ago... probably because of this ridiculous change in weather direction... air direction... today. There wasn't much rain down here again, but it looked like they must've been getting it up in the mountains. Fingers crossed.
