I have forced myself to listen to this hour of a couple of yimmeringly hysterical Israelis interviewing John Mearsheimer about his book. You get the feeling that everyone with any power in Israel has to be this bug-eyed or there would be no way they could keep up the ugliness, no matter how evil-intentioned they could be. Fear is the harbinger of serious evil, and how much worse is it when that has been drummed into your head your whole life by people completely witless with holocaust excusing their every shortcoming, their every selfish urge? If you can bear listening to some radio hosts who need some valium really badly here, you can start to educate yourself on the dangers of projection. It sounds as though they believe that stuff about being the chosen, and as though their very skulls are lined with burglar alarms.
