Plants were closing. The NPT was blazing. We were very close to a world with no nukes. Then money happened to boomers in high places. Talk about the disappointment of a lifetime! All my life I've been swallowing back my agonies by telling myself that everything was going to be wonderful when we finally got the reins of power....
