I mean, maybe we have to rethink our system for categorizing hurricane force. It seems to me I remember images of Katrina on its way to NOLA and it wasn't nearly this big, while still being huge. There ought to be some kind of allowance for the sheer hugeness of the things. Gustav looks at least twice the size of Katrina if you are judging by radar image, and I think the fucking wind from Gustav has already hit the California coast. Honestly, something this huge seems to me capable of stirring up the atmosphere on at least a hemispheric scale, if not a planetary one....

Somehow, tracking Gustav doesn't quite give the same impression as looking at the radar, does it?
