I have what some would deem a pathological aversion to the entirety of Northern Utah. It's identical to me and oleander bushes. Proximity produces a great urgency to get away that does not ebb until I get away. I always have this reaction to poison.
The AP has been syndicating this story for at least half a week to papers who take the bits from it they wish to print, and I don't even know if I've linked you to the most comprehensive incarnation, but I guess I don't have to do that for my purposes here.
Check out this piece from 2005 that discusses scientists studying it since the mid-1990s and tell me if you think I'm just being cranky to gripe about it. I'm not even going to dig further because I do not want to melt my monitor with hate rays.
