Seems to me his gripe was local and his enemies were local, that maybe trying to put this into context by making an analogy with, say, an American blogger in a fight with a local poobah over his or her neocon leanings, is in order here. Are you going to say the White House, or DC, put the hit on him through local police?

Hmmmm?

I mean, I don't know. I'm clueless. My only advantage here is that I know it, and I bear it in mind.
