krishnamurti was pretty cool, but not really on it

Nevertheless, I have collected up about four and a half hours worth of his lectures to listen to while I check my decades-old assessment of him. I know that he said some darn profound things in his day, but anybody can do that if they want to.

[Believe it or not, I listened to all of these lectures in my insomnia last night, and I can tell he did have an inclination toward truth, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how he expected people to get anything worth their time out of his talks. It seems to me the Zen masters and the Sufi masters are the only ones who laid down a decent framework from which people through the ages might begin, and keep some kind of a bead on the wholesomeness of their progress down their paths. So, really, after revisiting him like this, I do still contend Krishnamurti was, from the standpoint of awakening to reality, basically just a charlatan with a clue. That's the best I can do.]
