my one consolation is being removed

Never mind that we marched in there on a lie and that the invasion was planned long before 9/11, I was consoled that at least we were ridding Afghanis of a brutal regime. We might really be, in fact, the kind of belly-up that can't threaten anyone, but ourselves, anymore... which would make the malarkey with our threats to Pakistan more bluff like with Iran... which is good... but.... I guess we only ever had the word of our press for how bad they were to begin with, and desperate as they were to get that pipeline through there, that would have been the motive for blowing smoke up our asses so long, but I am unhappy about this none the less.
