And, since I'm at my parents' house, with the tv blaring every evening, the same threats are being broadcast high and low. The Senate was moved by it, not wishing to piss off Wall Street, or to seem like they were abandoning us to a depression. Wall Street should pay, not us. If they're determined to do a bailout, give the $700 billion to us. That makes more sense than us giving them the money to loan back to us at interest.
