just keeps making me mad

This has gotten an inordinate amount of attention, and if it can't have not happened at all, I wish it would go away. An incredible amount of money and effort and manpower went into this useless diversion that becomes even worse than just useless when you consider that people are still being very cruelly treated and everything is still unutterably wrong. The nicest thing I can think to say about it is that it was a fucking waste. But, really, someone went out and created themselves the third millennium version of the Pet Rock... a way to capitalize on a stupid and useless novelty. I saw a photoshop of a fly-encrusted and grotesquely undernourished African child against a backdrop of a bunch of receding obese Americans yesterday, and this fucking waste was the first thing that came to mind.
