police state

It might help drive it home if you listen to this discussion about the police being given material from domestic spying to arrest protesters before they even got to protest. Obviously, some of us don't exactly grok the problem with *'s flouting the Fourth Amendment, and Congress scurrying around to flout it further with FISA amendments. The original FISA was bad enough, stretching the Constitution to the breaking point. But, evidently, some of us were more focussed on this in the abstract rather than the immediate practical applications.

It so happens that n e u f n e u f has moles in the Madison peace and anti-fascism community so word of this stuff then tends to get out... in case you were wondering. I know you think this is a one-woman operation, but I just let you keep thinking that to protect my fantastic network of master practitioners of the perfection of espionage....
