cold mountain pick up

I've been looking too long for the translation of this story that really tells it. Maybe it will come to me in my sleep, where I have it, or where I can find it online, but the outrageous part of this story is the 7th Century B.C.E. spiritual giants content in their lowly station and the snooty and correct petty official is flummoxed by their ribaldry at the sight of him. The more flustered he gets, the more they howl in hilarity. Everyone has been bowing and scraping, but these two can't stop laughing.... So, anyway, linked is the dull outline of it, yellow highlight to start, and just a couple pages... or... I will find the right translation and bring it up again some time.

Oh, and Feng-kan really did ride a tiger. There's also the later famous work about the four of them -- Feng-kan, Han-shan, Shih-te and the tiger -- curled up asleep.
