... I just now thought to go to C-SPAN and listen to the damn FBI press conference on Blago, and I gotta say, it sure seems as though there has been extensive investigation into multifarious and extensive incidences of corruption. It may be that it was all hoked up, or real but holding fire pending the go from on high, which was only given in response to him crossing Bank of America, but there's really not so much doubt that he's a skunk.

Fitzgerald says, "But I will say that this was a very close hold in Washington, on a need to know basis only..." and so nobody knew about it before this morning if that is true. Though a newspaper did leak that Blago was being wiretapped. And it sounds as though Blago has known for quite a while that he was likely to be in trouble. So, it's a frickin' mess.

Anyway, I now believe he did the bit in solidarity with the windows workers yesterday because he knew his number was up and wanted to be a sympathetic character.

Damn.
