I think it's hubris and crass politics. Flo thinks it might be the keeping enemies closer gig. Whichever, he's already making a hash of it. And so are the fucking screeching ninny "progressives" who just won't stop flipping out, giving Rick Warren and every other Christianist maniac planets more fodder for their fund raising and voting blocs. Nice goin'.
