...but I think the conservatives are trying to stage a comeback on the heels of the successful bid by the more liberal airport demonstrators of a couple weeks ago.... Don't hold me to it.

Face it, you've been brought up to feel these people are somehow inferior, or quaint. Well, they ain't couch potatoes and they damn well go after what they think is right. Maybe we don't like the chaos and instability of the heavy turnover in political leaders, but, even though skunks rush in on the heels of most upheaval, it's also, clearly, clearly now, the only way to install the good ones....
