Have none of these ijits ever read a book, seen an old movie, on top of ignoring both modern and ancient history? The Khyber Pass was known to me to be the only way in for vehicles even of the unmotorized ilk before I was seven, I'm just sure of it, and I know they are loath to play nice with Russia to facilitate a northern route in, but those are just as hard to defend as a Khyber route. Have they never read The Art of War even? I thought that was the vaunted read in military and government circles. Even with rock solid Pakistani/American relations, it is and has been forever common knowledge that Pakistan cannot control the tribes, so there really isn't any excuse for NATO believing they can successfully hold the Khyber, or any of the passes into the pertinent parts of Afghanistan.
Is there?
Am I missing something?
[Yes, and they're going to have to be air dropping supplies to them....]
