I drove from Stinson Beach today back to my parents' house, to await lab results from all my tests. Mom and Dad were at the gym and forgot to leave the back door unlocked for me, so I hung in Goldie till they got home. I was trying to find news of Teddy's condition while I waited, but only found the local radio station. I was so relieved to hear the talk show host talking about America pulling away from support of Israel, making it so AIPAC support constitutes a mark AGAINST politicians, talking about the SANE Jewish peace movement PACs whose support should count for more.... It made me cry. I know it was just a local yokel radio station, but this is redneck land, and it starts at the roots.
I am so ashamed of our support for those war pigs. Just because I've been trying to give my nerves a little rest, doesn't mean I don't still feel it acutely. I would give anything for this shit to stop.
