For the record, you can expect to see all kinds of blather about the evil Putin and his puppet Medvedev and you will be reminded about his past in the KGB, the works. I deplore the murders. I don't know who did them. I know the victims had plenty of enemies; I know that Putin's enemies are happy to commit this sort of atrocity to cast him as a killer; and I also know that whatever Putin or Medvedev have to say about this latest assassination won't be covered here without pounds of propaganda burying its import.

Shit.

I've thought about this a lot. Bottom line: even if he is behind these killings, or some of them, they can as well be part of his fight against fascism as any despotic urge to be dictator of all Russia.

People really have to bring themselves up short and admit that many of our so-called democratic institutions and so-called human rights groups are outright nothing more than fronts for the furtherance of fascist influence. From everything I have seen, both Putin and Medvedev are squarely, implacably against fascism, doing everything they can to keep Russia from being strangled by it.

So, anyway, try not to break your teeth with your knee jerk smacking into your chin.
