His pants are down and he's taking it like a man. Jon Stewart is a credit to America, and Cramer had to take the beating for what Alan Greenspan and Hank Paulson and Ben Bernanke and dozens of CEOs should be experiencing.
It's as I've said a thousand times. These guys are regular people who simply don't realize, the way it needs to be realized, what they are doing. They are just like fighter pilots who feel they're playing a video game when they're actually incinerating thousands of innocent people. Even when you remind them that's what they're doing, it doesn't sink home. We are cartoons to each other... we've become cartoons to each other in the press of this kaleidoscopically ornate and G-force speed of events we call the world.
Turning real creatures into abstractions, into cartoons, is what makes us the razor wire wool of flesh-eating sheep, strutting around as if everything else is pixels in a video game, the ink on the funny pages.
