It feels as though we're living in a really bad horror movie. The Democrats were completely worthless in both Roberts' and Alito's confirmation hearings. We were all out here tearing out our hair in clumps and screaming over the airwaves and emailing until our fingers turned blue and, yet, look at what they did. The only one on the entire Judiciary Committee who REALLY, HONESTLY tried against these scumbag justices was Teddy Kennedy. It was some of the ugliest stuff I have ever witnessed. And when finally we mounted an offensive sufficient to make them hear we wanted a filibuster, Reid was at least as responsible as the Republicans for turning that into a wimpy bit of theater nobody but Teddy put their heart into. How in the hell did he get his job?
