Oh, this is reminding me so much of my need to get to the bottom of Michael Parenti's defense of Milosevic. I mean, clearly, there is no bottom to our perfidies out there, and at the time he died, Milosevic, I thought, hypnotized by snatches of news and the sneering way people said his name, simply: Good. But this pleads for me to look, to get to the bottom of it.

And it's just as horrible as all the rest.

I wonder, has there ever been so much as a lull in it?
