the pathetic wish to forestall world war iii

You know it really gripes me that I pay for my subscription to The New Yorker and, even when I'm not behind in my issues, everybody gets a crack at Seymour Hersh before I get to lean back and soak it in comfortably away from my monitor. Alas, it is very true, though, that Sy Hersh belongs to the masses... and it's a good thing his bosses recognize that.

[Notwithstanding Team Obama's assertions about helping end the latest extermination campaign in Gaza, Israel didn't stop bombing them for weeks, if they've stopped even yet, and the murderous siege continues. So, Obama's people are simply thinking wishfully or, well, you know, outright lying.]
