the silver lining of enduring zardari

"He is destroying the legacy of Bhutto," said Talat Masood, a retired lieutenant general, who is now one of Pakistan's most respected political and defence analysts.

That so has to be worth part of the cost of putting this bozo in charge of Pakistan... if anyone ever can be said to be "in charge of" Pakistan, that is.

Benazir Bhutto was not a good leader. She was an egomaniacal and greedy incompetent who milked the deepest hopes of the Pakistani people for quite literally everything they were worth. So maybe Zardari can pay back the oceans of karma she put into motion by destroying her in the eyes of the people. Maybe that will spare them little Prince Bhutto's eventual tyrannies there too.
