My political instincts were arguing against him, but my regular instincts kept telling me he was an okay guy.

That's something people need to learn to discern. The difference between those.

Thanks for your years holding up against some real creeps, Justice Souter. Bless your heart.

We'll be abuzz about his replacement, I'm sure. The way things are going, I'm thinking Elizabeth Cheney.

Don't mind me. I'm just too pissed off to be pleasant.
