The kneejerk response is to condemn him for his excuses, because they are almost as lame as Obama's, but, truly, he has a real point. Where was Congressional oversight? It was their stated mission to let the * administration crash and burn with their multifarious perfidies and devastating wars so that they could use them to win in 2008 -- also known as breaking their oaths to the Constitution as surely as the administration was. Now they won't even go back to rectify any of it. Most of the people in our government should be impeached.
