[click image]I've been so appalled by Obama and Brown inveighing against "protectionism" in the midst of their obviously complete capitulation to the gods of mammon, aka plutocrats, that I go off like a roman candle every time I see or hear another bit of it. It soothes me to see there are other people getting the point. I can't believe how little outcry there has been about this extremely obvious facet of the global financial crisis.
THERE'S NO WAY TO PROTECT THE WORKERS!
It's a blatant bid to wipe out the last vestiges of power in the labor market -- which is to say: almost everyone on earth -- very literally turn us all into slaves who are worse off by many factors than we are already. Obama keeps saying this stuff, and so-called liberals don't stop him, don't question him, still go on talking as though he were a blessing upon our house.
Uhm.
No. Maybe we could turn him into that somehow, but, as it is? No.
