Well, that line made me cringe too, but I think he means "just do what we want" in the sense of messing up each other's lives. Since he's into Zen, I have to think that was what he was trying to say. We are letting the Wall Street fucks do what they want. We are letting our government officials do what they want. It's messing up all our lives. I really think he means that just letting the greed, hate and delusion do its thing is not the right kind of freedom.
