  1. You too can fly one of those, just like a video game, then go home at night to the wife, kids and a BBQ!

Pilots, who fly them from trailers halfway around the world using joysticks and computer screens, say some of the controls are clunky. For example, the missile-firing button sits dangerously close to the switch that shuts off the plane’s engines.

  2. And as the Obama administration prepares its first budget, officials say they plan to free up more money for simpler systems like drones that can pay dividends now, especially as fighting intensifies in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Funny, that link turned into a link, but it links this post and not the NYT. I had to copy and paste it. Did you try to make it a link and make a mistake or is Blogger FINALLY trying to make URLs turn automatically into links, I wonder...?

  4. That is weird! I'm making the links correctly - I think...

Now it's not letting me do it at all!

I keep getting a red error message "Your HTML cannot be accepted: Reference "http:" is not allowed"

  5. I used an editor to enter the html - one click instead of typing it all, and realize now that for the first two times I didn't give it a title - only the reference. I guess Blogger played with them. But now it won't take the code with the title.

    I've been banished!

  7. This is really cool because any one with high speed access could run this from home. Yep the jobs could be out Sourced. Is really need to be done here maybe to a cheaper worker, like maybe some in that country. There is some money to be made here.
It's another sad day in Amerika and will we escape?

  8. Ooooo...

    Too many black jelly beans!

They didn't really banish me, but making a link is wacky.
