I'm sure neither was impressed, but I wish I could feel hopeful that Obama learned something.

ReplyDeleteYou never know, if David Axelrod was there also, it might give him additional leverage with Obama.
I wonder if Obama realizes the depth of betrayal people feel for the Wall Street sycophants and toadies he's put in power.

I just don't know how he could have missed it, Joel.
ReplyDeleteI still can't figure how Obama could even be Obama if Krugman and Stiglitz weren't the first people he consulted, rather than just being the noisy Nobel Laureates making it so hot for him he had to, finally, call them in for a friendly dinner chat.
It's worse than mortifying! It's apocalyptic.
Something is rotten to the core.
Do you think Axelrod has been stumping for Main Street, for real? I'm so damn disappointed that I can't seem to see any good motives in any of them anymore. I can cede that some of them probably THINK they're trying to do good, but then I get mad at them for being so deluded.
ReplyDeleteI just watched the al Jazeera release of the full Christian proselytizing fiasco in the service, and just tried to watch Biden and Kerry at AIPAC, but became too irate too quickly with all the Oscars drama music behind twerps waxing so schmaltzy behind Seders and "relationships" that I thought I would puke if I didn't turn it off. So maybe I'm just not in the best space to assess this stuff at this moment.
I don't know enough about Axelrod. I should try to remedy that.
